Requirements

What you need to use FiveNet Cloud with your gameserver.

FiveNet Cloud is designed to be easy to use and set up, but there are a few requirements you should be aware of to ensure a smooth experience.

Currently, FiveNet Cloud requires that you have a server that can run additional software. This is normally the case when you are using a VPS or dedicated server. If you are using a shared hosting provider, you may not be able to use FiveNet Cloud. You will have to run the DBSync component of FiveNet on your server to sync data from your gameserver's database to your FiveNet instance.

DBSync Requirements

FiveNet's DBSync (fivenet cli) is available on:

  • Windows (only the latest version of Windows Server and Windows 11 are supported)
    • amd64 - Your typical Windows server will run on this architecture.
  • Linux
    • amd64 - Your typical Linux server will run on this architecture.
    • arm64 - The newer 64-bit ARM architecture commonly found in Raspberry Pi 4 and other ARM-based servers.

Database Requirements

The DBSync component of FiveNet is only able to connect to MySQL databases right now.

Browser Requirements

FiveNet requires a modern-ish web browser to access the web interface. We recommend using the latest versions of:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge

For detailed information on the browser requirements, please refer to the FiveNet System Requirements page.
